Glangrwyney Court is a privately owned Georgian Grade ll listed Country House offering luxury 5 star accommodation. The house forms part of a small Country Estate on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Standing in 33 Acres of Parkland and 4 acres of walled gardens our location provides the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area or for those looking for a country retreat.
The tree lined drive forming the approach to the house reveals the first glimpse of the magnificent listed gardens including ancient Magnolia’s and Acers along with an abundance of shrubs and plants. Each season offers interest and enjoyment to the gardening enthusiast. On a summers evening relax on the patio with a glass of wine or in winter wrap up and walk the gardens before settling down in front of the log fire.

Glangrwyney Court dates back to approximately 1800 with typical Palladian architecture. The staircase which is cantilevered is of special interest and from the curved window the view over the gardens and Black Mountains beyond is inspiring.
The accommodation comprises eight bedrooms in the Main House, one further ground floor bedroom in the Garden Courtyard and three cottages which are all available as bed & breakfast or self catering depending upon your preference. |

Glangrwyney Court has been home to the family for the past seventeen years. This becomes evident the moment you arrive and step into the homely and welcoming atmosphere. During this time the main house and cottages have been sympathetically refurbished to provide exclusive accommodation with all possible comforts. All rooms are fully equipped with TV & DVD Players, Hairdryers, Clock Radios, Premium Toiletries, Fluffy Bath Towels and Robes and Tea/Coffee facilities.
Guests are encouraged to relax in the cosy sitting room in front of the roaring log fire during winter months. The lounge along with every room in the house is tastefully decorated and furnished with period pieces. The honesty bar is in the library where there is a wide selection of books available to our guests and where it is possible to take a few quiet moments away from it all. |

| Glangrwyney Court does not have a restaurant but we are very happy to arrange for our guests to eat out at one of the nearby highly recommended restaurants. Although we do not provide dinner in the normal way we are more than happy to talk to you about a group booking for those celebrating a special occasion or a group of walkers etc. |
We have an all weather tennis court. Croquet and boules are available onsite and Pony Trekking, Fishing and Shooting are also easily arranged locally.
There is also an enormous choice for walkers in the immediate area and the Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains offer tremendous hill-walking and the Brecon/Pontypool canal offers gentle walking along the towpath. |
