| The Hotel is a privately owned Grade ll Listed House set in magnificent gardens within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Easily accessible off the A40 , three miles from the market town of Abergavenny and two miles from the thriving little town of Crickhowell. Our location provides excellent transport links from London and Cardiff and is the perfect base for exploring the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and the Wye Valley.
Staying in this modest Georgian mansion which dates back to around 1800 with typically palladian architecture is a very special experience. With four acres of established and listed gardens , surrounded by 33 acres of parkland there are plenty of quiet places to sit and simply enjoy the surroundings. During the winter months the log fire beckons and with the honesty bar close by, a comforting drink is readily available. Deep sofas and plenty of reading material completes the picture. In Summer what better than to sit on the patio or lie back in the hammock in the walled garden and sip a glass of wine. |

Spring is a brilliant time to come and enjoy the wonderful show of bulbs , azaleas and rhododendrons. In fact every month has something wonderful happening in the garden. Just try it and see.
For the energetic the all weather tennis court is available and for those who prefer to take life at a more leisurely pace how about croquet and boules. It’s all here waiting to be enjoyed. Pony trekking, fishing , golf and shooting can be arranged if required as can cycling including bicycle hire.

| Our Rooms – Each room has been individually decorated and offers either en suite or private bathroom facilities. All rooms have TV and tea making, robes as well as fluffy towels , exclusive toiletries , hair dryers , clock radios and some rooms have DVD s. We have a small library of d.v.ds including a choice for children. All our rooms have views over the gardens and parkland. There is a luxury suite in the Garden Courtyard which has a galleried double bedroom , en suite bathroom with bath and shower and also a beautiful sitting room and large full kitchen. It is possible for this to be self catering if requested. In addition there is one double room which is in the Garden Courtyard and which is suitable for those who cannot manage a room on the first floor. | Glangrwyney Court does not have a restaurant but we are more than happy to arrange for our guests to eat out at one of the nearby highly commended restaurants/hotels/pubs and transport can be arranged if necessary. Although we do not provide dinner in the normal way we are more than happy to talk to you about a group booking for walkers, golfers or tennis visitors etc. when it is possible to organise a set menu to suit your requirements. |

We have lots of secret sitting areas and magnificent scenery in which to just sit back, relax and enjoy. On lovely summer nights our guests can sit and enjoy a drink on one of our various patios around the grounds. |

a refurbished Tennis Court. Croquet and
boules are available onsite and pony trekking,
fishing and shooting are easily arranged. There
is also an enormous choice for walkers in the
immediate area and the Brecon Beacon National
Park and Black Mountains offer tremendous hill-walking. |
